The position and your daily adventures
This is a full-time position based in our Mexico City office with a hybrid model, therefore we will expect to see you in the office 2-3 times a week.  

  • Conduct in-depth cohort analysis to track trends in profitability, retention, activation, and other key metrics, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth
  • Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to measure the effectiveness of strategic decisions and initiatives, iterating and refining approaches as needed.
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling visualizations and reports, enabling informed decision-making by management and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement new KPIs and performance metrics to monitor and evaluate the success of various business initiatives.
  • Project cohort behavior to forecast the company's future performance, providing actionable insights to guide strategic planning.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, bridging the gap between data science and operational teams to ensure analytics solutions meet business needs.
  • Automate routine analysis tasks and processes, freeing up time for deeper exploration and strategic analysis.
  • Maintain an analytics and data catalog for the area, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and usability for all stakeholders.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to support daily operations and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
You and your assets
  • 2 or 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a financial or banking environment, with a strong understanding of cohort analysis, unit economics, and profitability metrics.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar, with the ability to manipulate large datasets and perform complex queries.
Softskills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to think critically and creatively to solve business challenges.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on driving results and delivering value to the organization.
